Meet the Doctor

Dr. Peter Holden is a Board-Certified Periodontist who was born and raised in Midland, MI. He earned his dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2011, graduating 5th in his class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Epsilon National Dental Honor Society. After graduation, Dr. Holden commissioned into the United State Air Force. While serving in the Air Force, he completed a three-year Periodontal Residency Program and also received his Masters of Science Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He served 7 years of active duty, providing Periodontal and Dental Implant Dentistry to fellow Air Men and Veterans. After separating from the Air Force in 2018, Dr. Peter Holden joined the Periodontal practice that his father Dr. Michael Holden established in Midland, MI in 1983.

Dr. Pete has been married to his wife Nicole since 2009 and they have three children. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, attending his kids’ sporting and music events and a good bonfire. He is active in the community and serves on the Board for Helping Hands.
